These MedSense face masks have been tested and meets ASTM F2100 Level 2 Requirements - the international standard for face masks.

Providing Bacterial Filtration (BFE) at ≥ 98% and Particulate Filtration (PFE) at ≥ 98% @ 0.1 micron, the MedSense surgical masks are suitable for medical use and general daily use.

The MedSense surgical face masks are entered in the TGA ARTG (No. 340026) and also in the FDA.

Suitable for both medical use and general daily wear, MedSense protective masks are a comfortable and effective barrier against a variety of irritants and contaminants. A soft inner lining protects breathability while a protective outer layer filters particles and repels fluids, protecting the user even in the event of splashes, sprays and splatter by contaminated fluids. Equally, the filtration technology minimises the risk of contaminants in the user’s saliva or respiratory secretions reaching another person, helping to protect them and the people around them.

  1. Wash your hands immediately prior to handling the mask.
  2. Inspect the mask for damage (tears, holes, abrasions) – discard if detected.
  3. Locate the front and top of the mask (blue side out, metal clip up).
  4. Without touching the fabric of the mask excessively, pass the loops over your ears, ensuring that the mask covers your mouth, nose and chin.
  5. Adjust the mask to your face to ensure no gaps are present on the sides.
  6. Once fixed, form the metal clip around your nose.
  7. Avoid touching the mask while in use.
  8. When ready to dispose, remove the mask using the elastic, pulling from behind your ears.
  9. Dispose of mask immediately, preferably into a closed bin.
  10. Wash your hands immediately after disposing of the mask.
