DrugCheck® Fentanyl Dip Drug Test
Fentanyl Rapid Urine Dip Test
A rapid urine dip test for the detection of Fentanyl at a cut-off of 10 ng/mL. Fentanyl is not reliably detected by standard opiate drug test panels, so a dedicated test is required. Simply dip, wait 5 minutes and read the result — no equipment needed.
What It Detects
Fentanyl
Cut-off: 10 ng/mL
Also picks up common fentanyl-related compounds including norfentanyl, butyrl fentanyl, valeryl fentanyl and others.
Why You Need a Separate Test
Standard opiate panels (OPI/MOR) are designed to detect drugs like morphine and codeine. They will not reliably detect fentanyl because it is a fully synthetic opioid with a different chemical structure.
Best For
Workplace drug & alcohol testing, pain management clinics, rehabilitation and treatment centres, emergency departments, correctional services and any setting where fentanyl use needs to be screened.
Accuracy
| Measure | Result |
|---|---|
| Correctly identifies positives | 100% |
| Correctly identifies negatives | 100% |
| Overall Agreement with lab confirmation | 97.5% |
Accuracy verified against laboratory confirmation testing (GC/MS).
How to Use
- Open the sealed foil pouch and remove the dip test.
- Dip the exposed strip into the urine sample for 10–15 seconds. Don't let the urine touch the plastic handle.
- Replace the cap and lay the test flat.
- Wait 5 minutes, then read the result. Do not read after 5 minutes.
How to Read Results
- Negative: Two lines appear — one in the C (Control) area and one in the T (Test) area. Even a faint line in the T area is a negative result.
- Preliminary Positive: Only one line appears in the C (Control) area. No line at all in the T (Test) area.
- Invalid: No line in the C (Control) area. Discard and retest with a new strip.

FAQ
Will my regular drug test pick up fentanyl?
Not reliably. Standard opiate panels detect drugs like morphine and codeine but are not designed to detect fentanyl. Because fentanyl is a synthetic opioid, you need this dedicated test to screen for it.
What does a faint line mean?
A faint line in the test area is still a negative result. Any visible line — no matter how light — means fentanyl has not been detected above the cut-off level.
Can I use this test alongside my standard drug panel?
Yes. This test is commonly used as an add-on to standard multi-panel drug tests to extend your screening coverage to include fentanyl.
